Payza Users can now Generate Bitcoin Addresses in Their Account Directly

by on September 6, 2017

Payza is a well-known payment processor all over the world. The company has also won several awards for their technology over the years. As of today, the company fully supports Bitcoin. Although this functionality has been present for some time now, a new feature was added overnight. Users can now generate and manage cryptocurrency addresses from within their Payza account.

Having companies such as Payza on board indicates Bitcoin is going places sooner or later. After all, if major payment processors embrace the solution, the rest of the world will eventually follow. In Russia, WebMoney has been experimenting with Bitcoin for some time now. Anyone who uses Payza can now generate their own Bitcoin address and QR code from within their existing account. There is no further need to rely on third-party services for this specific service. A positive development for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, that much is evident.

Payza Unveils More Bitcoin-related Features

Up until now, users have to set up a Fund by Bitcoin transaction prior to receiving BTC payments. Although this feature works well, it is rather cumbersome. Removing any unnecessary friction from the platform is always a good idea. Moreover, there is no additional fee for generating Bitcoin addresses. Receiving a BTC payment also comes at no additional cost. All things considered, a great move by the company, which will hopefully make Bitcoin more appealing and popular.

Payza CEO Firoz Patel comments as follows:

“We’re proud to offer one of the most complete sets of Bitcoin services on the market. Whatever your Bitcoin needs, Payza now has the service to match. Our users now have all the same functionality that a Bitcoin wallet provides, right in their accounts.”

It is important to note this new feature is available for both Personal and Business account holders. Merchants can continue to use payment buttons for Bitcoin payments like before. For now, only Bitcoin addresses can be generated from within one’s account. However, there are plans on the table to support additional cryptocurrencies in the future. It is unclear which other currencies are on Payza’s radar right now, though. The new feature can be accessed through the desktop site with mobile support enabled in a future update.
